Culture Meets People - Cluster from the Revive Platform in the programme of Plovdiv 2019
This project cluster is promoting art and culture as a force for building stronger communities and improving citizens’ access to culture.
The projects aim at breaking down the boundaries between audience and performers. Inhabitants of more distant areas and suburbs and residents of social institutions are having the opportunity to experience, highlight and share their social and cultural diversity. They will be participants in a process where their little local stories would become visible internationally. Citizens are the key participants in the implementation for the projects are designed according to their desires and problems and it is these same citizens who are also participants in their implementation.
